Hey. I just submitted my site to Google Adsense, and was wondering whether I would get accepted. My site is here www.tptcomics.com I think it will, I have original content, nothing has been taken from other site, everything has been drawn ourself. And I have around 15 pages i believe. What do you think?
It should be approved by google If your site is 6 months old and getting decent amount of traffic, else its upto google to decide.!
you need to add an up to date privacy policy to comply with adsense TOS, also i'd add more content or longer post excerpts to the front page
An up to date privacy policy? For what? I thought that was only if I was collecting user infomation, which I only currently collect through the submit idea form. Although that is optional, you don't have to include your name or your email address. Could you point towards somewhere that could tell me how to make said privacy policy? Thankyou
Also, My site is only about a week old, well its only been live for a week that is. But its been in construction for a few months. From what I can recall, I didn't read anywhere on the official google pages that said anything about have a 6 month old site.
Also, did anyone who looked at the site, look at the comics? By clicking on the latest links on the left? What did you think of the site in general? Was it an eye sore? Was there to many images? Sorry for all the questions, its just I need feedback. Thankyou
You clearly need to read the adsense TOS before applying to the adsense program. You will not be approved if you do not have a privacy policy that is compliant with adsense requirements (and even if you were, you would be banned later for not having one).
Hi everyone, For me this website has poor content. I would advise waiting for more content before submitting to Google. Also, it is a good practice to have no other advertisements before submitting. (I know this from experience) ... this cannot be considered a full page lol As for your left side links, I would make them more visible. I definitely had to "look out" for them to see them Cheers, PS: Google Adsense will definitely be in trouble finding your website theme for it to be able to deliver quality ads. With no "keywords" it is hard even for a human to decide what is a website about. Think in terms of "hundred of words".
But that page will be filled more, when we get more comics up. All in good time. I have no other advertisements? I have already been accepted by Google (took them less then 10 hours), and the adds you would have seen are Google's. As for the side links, I will be making the links Bolder and maybe even change the colour. What specifically made them hard to find/read? As for "keywords" I do have keywords, look at my source code. And Adsense currently is giving me the adds i'm looking for, Its giving me online game ads, World of Warcraft ads, ads about comics and funny images, about computers. The only problem i'm having is with one certain ad. No matter where it is displayed (wether it be a leaderboard ad, a skyscraper, etc) it shows the exact same ad, with just the bits that didnt fit cut off. Like it shows perfectly in a 728x90 ad, but then it shows the ad in a 468x15, which makes the ad look retarded, because you can only see a quarter of it.
as soon as they see you have no privacy policy in place you will recieve a (lifetime) ban, you must read through the google TOS carefully also with no content how is adsense supposed to deliver targetted ads?
