Do you think my marketting plan is good enough?

    Hi,
Im goiing to launch a movie review site in the next week. I currently have the latest 50 theatrical movie reviewed, and I will have the latest movie reviewed when they will go out.

So, Ill have between 2-8 new articles every week, depending how many movies go out on the big screen that week. Each movie review is about 500 words. :D

Now, to promote this, I plan to add comment on blogs that talk about a specific title... this wont be spam, but just a post about how I like/dislike the movie, and a link to my full review.

I also plan to post around 200 new posts per day on 10-15 big movie forums, with an ad to my site in my signature.

At last, I plan to buy PR4+ links on other (music/movies/actor & actresses fans etc.) sites, to get indexed very fast by search engines, and to get a better PR.

Do you guys think my promotion plan is good enough? I want to go on the long term route, so thats why Ill add a lot of content to my site, in hope to get a lot of search engine traffic in the future.

Thanks a lot for your opinions,
    Stev

Linking to your full review might cause problems. Considering you had to defend yourself in your initial post regarding spam, I could forsee you defending yourself as not being a spammer in the future.

Overall, the plan sounds good. To be successful, lots of work will be required... but I am sure you understand that as you plan on making 200 posts per day, which is quite a feat.

To reiterate my first point, I would like to introduce you to something I have been thinking about a lot lately. The ability to eliminate personal bias (ie. I want this to work, so I convince myself it will)... We all want our projects to be successful, but we need forsight to evaluate which decisions will lead to our success. Overall, I'd suggest that you do not post links to your full review, but rather just a link to your website in your signature. If people truly are interested in what you have to say, they will visit your website.

If you are writing new articles near-daily, have an RSS feed which allows webmasters to post clipits from your reviews on their websites. Ensure that the RSS feed has links to the full reviews and provide a PHP program with easy integration to properly display the reviews and links in prime position. If you need any help with this, do not hesitate to PM me.

I hope what I have had to say has been interesting for you. Best of luck with your venture, Stev.

Yes, you may be right. I think that I will only stick to posting on forums with my link in my signature

I also just discovered article submissions... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=53226

Are they any good? I think that will also try this out. Good idea?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Article submissions are good and provide quality reciprocal links to your websites.

I would suggest that along with the RSS...

2000 daily post seem to be too much. You should spend the whole day posting. I suggest you to keep the number of posts lower but more meaningful. Copy/Paste post will make people to avoid your messages.

I said 200 posts per day. Thats already the amount of posts I have been making per day on my favorite forums... and it normally takes me around 5-6 hours every evening.

    Im a forum whore :D

    Thanks,
    Stev
