most welcome though I am not sure for what you were thanking me, for me Quran is the source of truth this is correct for you its not, and I m not arguing about this, each can be read and readers can decide for themselves, but I was asking, the holy spirit is the source of what? because you said that holy spirit is the source.

edited,: sorry thought you were talking to me, still my question is valid, source of what?

The fact that Surah exist that have opposite intent and meanings should be noted so one can discern the validity of each Surah. If one is quoting from the Mecca Quran and there is a contradicting Surah in the Medina Quran, then the quote is no longer valid. Where much of the rituals come from the Mecca Quran along with the calls for tolerance and peace, the more exclusionary and violence condoning Surah in the Medina Quran negate the peaceful intention of the Surah from the earlier Mecca writings. This is why one must be careful when accepting as fact anybody’s quoting of the Surah of the Quran.

Perhaps some day a scholar will write a version of the Quran with the Surah in chronological order with footnotes to denote which Surah have been superceded by later Surah. Until then we are left to research these discrepancies ourselves. Not an easy task, but a necessary one if we are to understand Islam and Muslims.

By the way, a Muslim admitted the contradictions as seen above.

    like this ...

Chronological Order(first) Surah Name(second) Number of Verses(third) Location of Revelation(fourth) Traditional Order (fifth)

The version you read and/or study is a combined form of the medina and mecca version of the Quran and terribly mixed up, without order.

Was that indented by arch angel Gabriel and Mohammad? At least they made 24 revisions altogether.

The importance here is that Muhammad ruled that if a later Surah contradicted a previous Surah, then the most recent and newer Surah was the true word of Allah.

EVEN MOHAMMAD KNEW ABOUT THE CONTRADICTIONS OF VARIOUS VERSIONS.

Dude you are confusing two cities with the versions of Quran.

Makkah and Madina are the two cities. Prophet Muhammad lived first 53 years of his live in Makkah. Revealation of Quran started when he was 40. So the Chapters revealed during his life spent in the city of Makkah are marked as Makki. When he was 53, Prophet Muhammad migrated to the city of Madinah which is 400 miles away in north. He spent the last 10 years of his life in Madinah. Surah's or chapters which were revealed during his time in Madinah were marked as Madni Suraahs. Makki or Madni is just to distinguish the city of revealation. Its not version. And no there is no contradictions in Quran. You may think of some verses as contradicting but some orders requires specific conditions before they get imposed. You have to go through context, you can't just single out the words 'kill infedel'.

And i'm 100% sure that you haven't read Quran. You might have readed some translation of Quran by some guy maybe but not the actual Quran which is in Arabic. Any book that says Quran in the title is any language other than Arabic, is not Quran, its just a translation of Quran by some guy. Thats why there is no version of Quran. Translation of Quran is not equals to Quran.

When there are no different versions then why can it be that Surahs contradict? eh? He didn't migrate. He had to run away. And why was it necessary to make 24 revisions with Gabriel? Very manipulative, or God was just soooo confused, eh? Why did he get more and more violent? with unknown terror until revived by qaida again?

Search my friend, search. Only what you find out yourself is what you will believe.

Funny, of decorating the religion with the name "Gabriel" as mentor too. Where else can you find a holy scripture name in the Quran working with Mohammad? - Nowhere.

And here we go again, Arabic language is necessary to understand. (from another poster above) - Knowing from my native Arab friends that the whole thing was written rather in a strange Arabic slang, or at least with so many mistakes that it is nearly impossible to understand fully. That what we see are interpretations of unclear Arabic expressions in language and nothing else. But that doesn't make the Quran true either.

Thanks for showing us it was even more absurd than claimed and how violent some sects of Islam are to any criticism. Your posting this was like ThraXed bragging how Iran does not kill their gays but pays for their gender surgery - as though either makes those Islamic nations appears rational or civilized.

There are people from every country of the word that commit violent acts, even the United States. Some Americans just need a scapegoat for their problems. Unfortunately, a few Muslims have put a bit of a blemish on their reputation as a whole.

Learn to read. I clearly attributed this act to some in Islam. It is you who is making the false connection to all of Islam.

People are smart enough not to keep buying the notion that every bad incident committed by a Muslim in the name is Islam was by someone misreading the Koran. At some point, Islam has to acknowledge that there are large portions of its followers who hold these disturbing views - and act on them.
