Do You Think Marijuana Shoud Be Legal Or Not?

Legalize and tax the hell out of it like they do Cigarettes and Alcohol. Everyone is happy. Bitching about the taxation but happy all the same.

 

I think it should be legal. If alcohol's legal, even though it's more harmful than marijuana, then why shouldn't the latter be as well?

 

I think that marijuana should be illegal.

 

Sure marijuana should be legal. And I do not understand why its illegal. It seems to me that alcohol causes too many problems in our society, such as liver problems, certain forms of cancer and some people turn violent when they drink.

 

No.. Marijuana shouldn't be legalized.. Are there reasons why we should make it legal..?? I can't think of any that would warrant its legalization.. Obviously, it would destroy a lot of lives.. If you can see the effects of marijuana while it is illegal, you would agree that making it legal would make things worse..

 

It's legal i believe i oregon i believe it's legal in sweden why not have it legal the goverment can make quite a bit of money by taxing it it will help the economy jobs will be made, farms will grow it, So what are they waiting for.

 

Of course it should be legal. That's a good way to eradicate drugs...and will decrease tremendously the number of junkies out there...

 

I agree with this post. I don't smoke pot either, but the benefits far outweigh the risks, plus our government could tax it.

I used to smoke it.. but i gave it up over a year ago because i was tired of feeling like a criminal just to buy it. I think it should be legal as it is most definitely not as harmful as cigarettes or alcohol. It is actual helpful more than harmful

Look into the reasons it was made illegal in the U.S.....there were reports of "negro men seducing white women with mj", and because Mexicans smoked it...Those are the two main reasons it was made illegal.

 

It's a natural plant for crying out loud, who the hell has the authority to make a natural plant illegal? oh.. the gov't.. LOL Before you know it its going to be illegal to think.. wake up people!

1. We could stop clear cutting and start using Hemp paper, and many other hemp products.

2. -Marijuana helps with migraines... Kills 0 People per year
-Advil helps with migraines... Kills 16,000+ per year..

3. Number of people that arnt going to be arrest and payed with our tax money to be held in a jail.

Here is a good reason why I think it is not legal yet... They do not have the technology to check the THC in you system. Once they find a way to make sure your not "Driving High", I could see this being legal. (Government weed probably be covered in chemicals to make it addictive )

I don't agree at all with this, Only thing I see is smart people losing there jobs, houses, lives because of a plant...

Here is another cool fact.

Marijuana is the most unique planet known to man, the fact that there a huge difference in males and female plants that amaze Scientist.

Also it is 100% Legal to grow a male marijuana plant because it is unable to produce THC.

 

I don't agree with that chart...I'm sure there have got to be lung cancer deaths...car accidents, etc...I still don't think people should be put in jail for possessing it though.

1. males do produce thc
2. even if they didn't, they would still be illegal as hemp is to grow(which has no thc, but is basically illegal because it is a close relative).

 

I think that it should be legal there are so many things that you can do with it not just smoke it i have seen a lot of docu on it and i really don't understand our governments by having it illegal.

and yes the first reason that it was made illegal was because black people and mexican people smoke it

and if it was cultivated in really big qty you could say goodbye to global warming !!!!
