Do you think it's wrong for parents to buy their children alcoholic beverages?

I would say that it would be bad parenting to buy your children alcohol if they're below 16, regardless of what the legal age is in their country.

 

Alcohol is a poison so for anyone under 16 whose bodies are still growing the alcohol is bad, just because it destroys the tissues. Once you've stopped growing (and that varies from person to person) then it's OK. The thing is to learn to drink responsibly, whatever your age.

 

Exactly. Giving alcohol to children should be done at the parents strict disgression, the child in question should be mature and know when to stop.

 

in my opinion its totally wrong.
it depends with age and location like if u r living in those countries where alcoholic beverages r prohibited then there is not good and if child is under 18 where alcoholic beverages r allow then thats also not good.

The whole idea is very strange.What of buying for your child give him a tight one ,if you find him even touching alcohol at a tender age.

If the children are underage then yes most definitely.
