Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Do you think it would be ok...

... if I put some Adsense on this site: www.zooseek.com ? It hasn't been built yet, and I probably won't get it up for another 3-4 months. The thing is, I'm getting some traffic on the site (about 1000 unqiues per month), so I figured I could just throw up some Adsense to visitors have someplace to click to... but I don't want to break the TOS, since the site isn't technically done. What do you think?

N/M The website does have some content. Just make sure it doesnt say under construction or anything like that and give it a bit more content and you should be fine.

Hehe... I saw your first post, then this one. lol. Yeah, it doesn't say under construction, but the body of the page does say that the real site is coming this fall... I was just thinking of slapping a 728x90 unit at the bottom or something... should I maybe email google to get the go ahead, or just do it?

I'd ask Adsense, also you could put up some cj or some other program.

Why not just add a little bit more content, just mention (briefly) that you'll be adding more stuff soon, and put Adsense on it. In the totem pole of sites that go against the Goog TOS, I'd wager to say you're way at the bottom (of a violation, that is). A tiny bit more content would take you, what, 30 minutes?

Thanks... may not be a super-profitable website, but it will be fun to do, and will be a "useful" site for kids, parents and teachers.... We'll probably sponsor some animals at various zoos and stuff too.

I emailed Google... we'll see what they say. If they want more content, I can add that. Just figured I could make a couple extra bucks rather than just wasting the visitors. ;)

I don't think that they like it as for the moment, but you might stand a chance when you change the wordings of content for example 'continious updates' or so. The site is launched allready, make the best out of it starting from now on.
You may also need to put some basic pages on before you use adsense there.

I would not add the adsense code to your site. Besides saying that the project is yet to be launched, none of your links work since, naturally, the site is under construction at the moment. So adsense would be the only way out for your visitors until the site is fully launched. Your CTR is likely to be high and Google is likely to review the site

Hehe... Google got back to me today and said a no-go until the site is done... oh well. ;) I figured as much.

On a side note, should one ask each time we start a new site to get the ok? Or if you know it's fine, just throw it up there?
