    i think the world need to be balanced

    as there is only one power in the world USA

    do you think if union of soviet or any other power will be

    better for the word peace or it just will increase the damn wars

    which we all hate :(

    it was cos USSR we did not see another nuclear bomb falling on Vietnam, yes it would be much better to put limits to any bully state not only USA.

    No, if Russia was a world power they would be so busy rivaling with China that the U.S. would have even more room to act unilaterally in international military affairs.

    Right now, the U.S. is somewhat limited by China's interests, and there has been mostly co-operation and compromise.

    The American empire is coming to an end, whether we like it or not.

    We're broke, and within a generation, the bill will come due. There is almost zero public support for addressing the debt or unfunded liabilities. And the politicians are not making it an issue either.

    We'll be snorting coke right up until they come for our houses, cars and retirement portfolios.

    The world is still balanced(nukes are alive:)), its just that there is no more that dumb USSR, who were trying to rule the world and be the first not even on Earth, but on Mars, Jupiter, etc. The goals changed, and Im glad of it.
