#1 is always good means ur getting most of the traffic cause lets be honest people click the first link that pops up when searching for something or at least i do lol

 

oh, wow! you really are at the #1 spot. way to go!

 

If you are at the top then keep working to stay there because there is always someone right behind you trying to take your spot. Top Spot= Traffic

 

1. There will be more people copying your content.
- copied site wont last long and you still can report google is they violate your copyrights.

2. There will be competitors trying to use various methods trap you.
- Google already aware of this and they wont give penalize on something that competitor can use tohram you.

3. Will attract the attention of search engines, will be artificially blocked your site.
- if you are using white-hat, nothing to be worried about

4. Some people will be on your optimization technology, and then imitate you, kill you.
-So you have to learn more on SEO.

 

Greater exposure has perks and disadvantages. You really need to be ready for it.

 

Having had a bull-eye on me for years, there is some advise I can give you.

Don't look around at who's comming.
If they copy your work, it's flattery not theft.
And anything you do is visible. They will rat you out if they can.

Remember on thing, you are number 1, they are not. So scr@# them!

Do things right, and leave them in your dust.

 

I do not know if there are many people that would agree.

 

I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to increase your traffic to your website - it is good!

 

it is always good to be number 1, because that means you will get a lot of traffic for free

 

Number 10 is also very good

 

Sure its very good that you get the biggest share of your niche traffic , as approx all internet users uses SEs .

 

It is every webmasters' dream to get to the top of search engine, so take the negative side as being part of the game. It's how you deal with the problems later and in fact each and every one of those has a solution to it.
