I bought $500 worth of content from a DP member and I am sure I wont get the articles because it has been 60 days. I paid by paypal first I transfered funds from my bank account. Could I do a chargeback with my bank account CC?

I know that with paypal unless it's a physical item you are dead in the water in most cases. Now... However if you paid with your credit card via paypal.com you can do a charge back and in most cases win ! But paypal.com will cancel your account due to you violating their tos. One is not doing a chargeback :)

dragon not true, they wont cancel your account! Chargebacks are the number one reason why i frigin hate paypal, been scammed so many times that i refuse to accept paypal! PayPal doesnt care really! And i calculated the scam rate is crazy high for virtual goods, seriously around 10-20% atleast!

You can argue with your CC company and try to win it back, but since its past the 45 day limit not over paypal.
So with your CC company maybe.

Well, you should have raise a dispute if you did not hear from the person within a few days of paying him, you will inevitably have won the case against the seller.

However, you can raise a chargeback, Paypal will get the hit and they will pass the debt off to the seller. The one who gets his account limited would be the seller if his account goes into negative balance.

In online trade which involves credit card payments, the seller is usually the one who suffers.

Yeah I would open a dispute up with paypal first. If they don't do anything or side with the seller then I would talk to your bank. Are you talking about filing a Charge Back with your Banks Debit Card?

Just say that the account was used w/out your knowledge and they will send the money back.

Someone did that to me :(

Using a CC to chargeback from Paypal is essentially ripping Paypal off since they'll be the ones out of pocket... though I think this isn't an option since you added the funds from your bank account originally anyway?

You can only chargeback if you used a credit card.
