How is it Biblical to decorate eggs, hang them in trees and worship the rising sun? Guess what? Those are all very ancient practices that survived into the modern holiday of Easter. It has nothing to do with "falling on the same day"

Also, I can't just link Easter to "some weird festival" it is historical fact. Do some research, dont count on me to try to tell you everything about it. You won't believe me anyway so just do some research and learn it for yourself.

Do you honestly think that Jesus would condone Easter? It is an ancient holiday centered around idolatry my friend, much older than Christianity.

I didn't say it's Biblical to decorate eggs. Celebrating Easter doesn't mean you need to bring in the non Biblical customs and whatever.

HOWEVER: I know Jesus would want us to remember/celebrate the greatest event in humankind history. Remember what he said: "Do this in REMEMBERANCE of me." Don't forget Easter (Pesach or PassOver) is a Jewish festival and if there is one thing you can be sure of is the Jews were not celebrating a pagan holiday. Let's not mix Easter with Christmas.

Not everyone who is built competes proteindude.
Just because you sell 'truckloads' of protein does not make you an expert.

You can practice religion at home, the same as you could be a top body builder by having your workout equipment at home.

Of course not everyone competes. Only the better build ones do. Usually the ones that train at a gym.

Just because I was a distributor for several years for Designer Whey (America's #1 selling protein powder) and just because I dealt with pros and many other bodybuilding champions it doesn't make me an expert. I wonder what it makes me then.

Of course you can practice religion at home. But you won't be as good at it as someone who gets together with his fellow men who worship the same God.

Now religion is a competition? You have to compete with your neighbor to see how many times each of you go to church in a week? Come on, man. Start making sense please.

How can someone who practices religion at home not be as "good" as someone who goes to church everyday? Are they praying the wrong way?

A distributor of a product makes you far from an expert

The ones who compete are also on HUGE doses of steroids, making your point totally mute. The guy who is built and doesn't compete, does not equate to him not being built as good. Not everyone who is built competes, simply because they do not care to.

Give a farmer or construction worker huge amounts of steroids and lets see how they look.

You also glossed over the fact that one can train at home, many of the pro's actually do! Training does not stop at a 'gym' you know, plus cardio at home, benches, etc are very common.

Now you are showing a difference from 'being better' when it comes to religion, showing you honestly have no clue about the religion you try to claim you know so well.

You honestly do not know anything about body building either. I'm sure you might know something about selling a product though

Easter is NOT a Jewish festival - are you serious? You need to learn more about this before you start making statements like that. Yes Passover is Jewish - Easter is Babylonian. Easter is an ancient "pagan" holiday - that is a historical fact and is not open to opinion.

Why would the jews have a holiday that celebrates the resurrection of a saviour that they do not believe in?

You need to go back and read your Bible. When Jesus said "Do this in REMEMBERANCE of me." it had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Easter.

what is important is putting God first in your life, rituals don´t really mean that much, what means something is where your heart is at.

I agree with you on that. In my opinion there is nothing inherently wrong with the celebration of Easter, Halloween or Christmas. I do believe, however, that it is important for us to understand the origins of these "holidays"

I know first hand how legalism can turn people away from God. I believe in evolution to some degree, but hey, I might be wrong and what we´ve learned in school is not true. Who cares, God will show me some day what the truth is.

I too believe in evolution (to a degree) My personal belief is that God created everything with the inate ability to adapt and to survive.

Genesis 3:19 says, "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

Guess what? Centuries later mankind discovered that we are in fact made of the same thing as the "dust of the earth".

I haven´t been to church in years, I do miss one church I have been to. Generally speaking, I prefer to make up my own mind. Seems a lot of church members are so into making you see things their way.

Yes, I havent attended a church in quite some time myself though I am a believer. I have attended a lot of churches over the years. I have found that there are generally always good and sincere people there. However all I have seen are churches that seem more interested in following man made traditions and rules instead of what the Bible actually says. They tend to pick and choose what they want to follow.
