That is an excellent idea! It is a little late for me this year but next year I will be sure to do that. I have a site called True Ghost Tales that is about ghosts with stories, halloween stuff etc. This would be perfect for me

Halloween comes from All Hallow's eve, a time in which the church used to celebrate the dead from the previous year...it happens the night before All Saint's day. So no, to me, it is not evil or of the devil.

Halloween comes for Samhain which was celebrated by the Celts long before the "church" ever came along and influenced the "holiday"

#1There is a difference between forcing my views and disagreeing with evolution. Let me use one of your favorite expressions: "You do understand that don't you?" I don't see how teaching intelligent design is forcing my views. Anyway, my response to "stop forcing your views" is I will not be silenced. I will not let others silence me whenever they throw the: "don't force your views on me" which is a pathetic attempt at asking me to shup up or asking me to be silent.

#2 Jesus said in Matthew 7/21 that not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter into His kingdom but ONLY those who do the will of His Father who is in heaven.

Most Christians not seeing a problem with Halloween are probably also the same Christians who don't have a problem with being absent from church on Sunday. Kind of like this Catholic dude from the gym: "You don't have to go to church to be a good Christian." I asked him: "Ok then. Tell me, can you be a good bodybuilder if you don't go to the gym?" I received no reply to my question.

It is forcing your views as it is religion, yet you will not allow your children to learn the muslim way

You can also practice religion outside of the church, the two do not make a good comparison one bit.

Maybe then you can answer this question: Can you be a good bodybuilder if you don't go to the gym?

I've met him a couple of month ago in Costa Rica. He was getting hammered and had 3 dudes with him watching for cameras. Dude looks way old in person.

And no, I don't think that Halloween is evil at all. Sure, many churches will try to install that belief in members, but who cares unless of course you celebrate it by slaughtering a lamb and paint wicca signs all over your house with it.

I think the point he was trying to make was this:

What if you called yourself a body builder and you bought a weight bench, but you didn't read the instructions, you didn't read any books or websites about how to lift weights, you didn't talk to any doctors or other body builders, you didn't eat healthy, and you only lifted weights on Easter and Christmas.

Would that make you a good body builder?

That question makes no sense for 1,
for 2 the religion does not state you have to go to church every week as far as I'm aware.

    ;)

Point being, there is no point, yet another failed attempt.

Of course I celebrate Easter. The Christian Easter.

Next you'll tell me you even know some bodybuilding pros that train at home. So name one: Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Lee Haney. If I'm not mistaken when Ronnie Coleman won his last Olympis he grabbed the mic and was telling people: "You got to give Jesus a try man. You got to go to church man..." But what does Ronnie and the rest of the Christians know? I guess even Jesus was wrong for going to the synagogue. Huh?

Easter is not Christian. It has been celebrated for thousands of years before Jesus was even born. It is a "pagan" festival that honors fertility gods and is associated with the idol worship or Ishtar, and Eastre.

So here we have an actual "holiday" that has it's roots in idol worshipping being OK in your eyes while Halloween which had nothng to do with any religion or god being bad.

People never cease to amaze me

Body building pro's use massive amounts of steroids

Not very good at that subject are you?

Some of the strongest and most in shape people I have ever met do not go to gyms, they are called farmers ;)

Easter is the time when we celebrate the most important event in human history. Is that something that should not be celebrated because somehow you may be able to link this with some weird festival? I don't get it.

Should you not celebrate say your birthday if by chance it falls on the same day as Hitler's birthday?

I am not sure I get you. Jesus said no one can serve two masters. So if the festival of Halloween is not something Jesus would condone, but I would say it's the pagans that like it then how can you say it's not of the devil?

So if I used large amounts of steroids and didn't go to the gym would I still be a top bodybuilder?

I would say it's not my weakest subject since some of the guys I dealt with are real pros. One even competed in the Mr. Olympia (didn't palce but still he made it there which in itself is an achievement. My proteindude name is related to the fact I sell truckloads of protein and therefore am heavily involved with bodybuilders)

Right: so if someone wants to get strong and in shape they have to forget the gym and become farmers. Still, I haven't heard of any famous bodybuilders who made it just by being "farmers". I still reckon they had to go to the gym.
