I just want to see what people think about Google PR (Page Rank) Do you think it is something very important to your online business research, rankings, conversions or income? Or it's a nice bonus but not really that important. Let me know your opinion, I keep seeing too many people talking on both sides of the fence about this topic and I want there to be a more understanding idea of it.
Yes I do. When clients look at a site, the judge a site's quality by the PR bar. It's BS but reality. Other than that, I haven't seen any real impact on a site for gaining or loosing a point.
It really depends on what you do with your sites. There is no clear yes and no. If you sell links or blog posts or wish to sell your site, PR is very important to the price you could get. If you do none of those things, PR means nothing but a simple number.
Depends on your client. For my clients it doesn't matter, as that they are on my site to either learn or buy custom clothing. I doubt many of my customers even have google toolbar.
Google toolbar PR is quite meaningless and is only good for bragging rights and selling links. It is Google's real PR that is important. I would assume the real PR is based on some of the same things as the toolbar PR. The toolbar PR won't affect rankings at all.
People statrted to judge a site by seeing its PR. If you are into a selling of products or so then it really helps.
