As you know Google, msn, yahoo and aol lately have been buying quite lots of famous site around the internet. Do you think there is any chances that wordpress would be bought by as these companies. As you know that the wordpress blog is been known as one of the most powerful and effective blogging software. And i have seen a lot of people moving their blog from blogger to wordpress. What's are your views?
There is a price for everything and the internet biggies can surely pay that. Wordpress is surely a good buy.
but there is a chance that it will be acquired by other rival who doesn't have a blogging feature on their service. I think wiki is a different thing. I feel that blogger is losing some customer due to its limited add-ons and stuffs.
Wordpress could be as papular and loved as BLOGGER if yahoo buy WP. but i think the owner of WP will not sell it as they are trying very hard to make is blogger rival... lets wait and see..
Wordpress would be a great asset for any one who choose to buy it, on the other hand it is up to the people at wordpress whether they want to sell or not.
if bloggers is to google then wordpress is to yahoo free blogger blogs would rank well in google free wordpress blogs would rank better in yahoo
well if wordpress is bought by yahoo and yahoo start Ypn international with it, it would give google/adsense a run For its money wont it
ya you are probably right. it may give google a hard time. who know yahoo may even place ads like on geocities.
if wiki is for sale google will sure go for it, but then for the wordpress i guess yahoo will try harder to get it. adsense is a huge success mainly because of the blogger's support! perhaps yahoo will try to make the ypn a great hit by buying the wordpress!
Wordpress is a lucrative buy for the three competing giants! They do have deep pockets and can afford a good bargain in return.
