Do you think forum and blog posting work for SEO ?

I am posting in Do Follow forums and blogs if I can say it like that
But I am worried if it works for google SEO as I read article that google doesnt count links from forum and blog posts.
I higly hope its not true. So I want to ask you, the people that build backlinks that way what you think ?

Yes, it works. google SEO pays good attention to Do Follow link posted on Blogs.

 

yup it sure does, make sure you contribute as well though, not just post for the sake of links...

 

As long as it is "do follow" link it is counted.

And don't forget that you can get lots of visitors from the blog comment directly or from your post in a forum... so it works both ways, direct traffic from the link in the signature and the inbound link for seo.

 

Yes my links from forums and blogs are counted, The best way is to view your external link list in google webmaster tool and u will get the list of link including forums and blogs.

 

if your forum and blog has good unique informative articles, then google bot follow such articles, but only if dofollow is enabled on the blog or forum, also it increases the traffic rates

 

My site is www.aeesoft.com it have 6 Google backlinks from forums, It means Google give value to forums and blogs

 

Yes! Blog and forum links good for SEO but if u r posting on relevant forum and blogs and then u can get good traffic too.

But are you Posting only dofollow site not a nofollow site so be aware....
