Do you think Firefox ruins your earnings?

    Hi, everyone!

I have been pondering for some time on the question whether the "bad" IE is not actually the "good" one for Adsense and the "good" Firefox the "bad" one. The reasoning I have is that unlike IE plugins, Firefox ones for ads filtering are quite popular and will naturally kill the ads without the user even sees them thus killing our revenue...

So my question is whether other people have some observations whether this is true and for example more traffic from Firefox users leads to less clicks and respectively less revenue. Or maybe it is just my imagination and most people don't bother using any ad filters at all.
(I know there are some ad filter plugins for IE but have seen only one person I know to actually use such.)

Please share your experience... I cannot quite prove any trend with my experience or available data but believe that if you look at the browser distribution for the visits of your sites it might prove my fears not to be completely groundless.
    Thank you.

P.S. I know there are some other threads discussing that Firefox ad-blocking extensions are not good for Google and the publisher but I'm more concerned whether anyone can notice any significant impact. Also if the pageviews are more than the impressions would that mean that some ads were filtered?

Who cares? You can't do anything about it so get over it.
I use FF and block ads.
The fact that the majority of people use IE and dont have ad filtering is a + for every webmaster.

I use Adblock. The Google Ads load, then disappear so the Google ads would still get impressions.

This was discussed a while back: Adblock (Firefox extension) could kill Adsense?.

To summarise: anyone blocking ads isn't someone going to click, so you're not losing. Target your audience, don't just rely on adsense. To target your audience, research it and discover what they're interested in.
