    I don't follow this suggestion & feedback thread. But recently I felt that DP should have some reward system in terms of points. I know we have Rep system. Besides we should have point system like

    for new thread 15 points
    replying to other thread 1 point
    etc.

    so that Dp would grow more. In some forum this is sued for a trade purpose.
    so what you think guys

    Other forums tend to have it to encourage people to use the forum. DP is used a lot already and people dont need incentives to post.

    Yeah the spam posts would go up.
    If there *is* a reward system (which I feel would devalue the forum slightly) it should be on Rep or something, even though that isn't quite stable.

    well i personally dont feel DP has any need for a point system... calculating points on the basis of posts would encourage spam.. instead the rep system is the best . .you get points if you do something good... !

    We used to have the same system on another forum, but that was just for fun. Members could buy gifts (little icons) for each other and such. So, I think it's unnecessary. :)

    I think it is fine the way it is. DP is already a very active site no need to offer points.

    There is already lots of competition on Rep. system, we dont need another points system based on posts since it'll increase the spam posts and mod's jobs. Rep is good since you dont get points for spam posts but you get red for that:)

    I'm not sure what use a points system would be, to be honest - we already have iTrader, post count based 'ranks' and rep - they're more than enough measures of activity, reliability, and post quality in my opinion.

    Honest Speaking, points system is for teens, kids and not for webmaster forums....

    This forum is for serious discussions along with general chat...so I dont think we should have that.

    And trading for points is not much important because DP isnt selling anything and trading or buy and sell via points with other members?....nah.... ;)

    Now if its like certain points needed to make a thread even after required post count like in buy and sell ? that will increase spam.. :p
