It will only rise once you sort your economy out. I reckon a couple of years before it starts to rise, or when you get another president.
Yes i think dollar should rise but one of the big thread is china, if china converted his reserves into Euro, dollar will surely fall. I am a commerce student and i love to see more and more professional replies in this thread
At school (Fundamentalist christian school), they say the dollar is stable, and we should not invest in the Euro because when Jesus comes again to rule the world for a thousand years from Jerusalem, the Anti Christ will rule all of Europe. And we wouldn't want anything to do with that now would we? But yeah, I've been keeping all my money in Euros, and trying to only accept Euros too. Its getting cheaper and cheaper to live in the US this way. I honestly hope the US economy changes.. but I just don't see that happening anytime soon.
I sure hope the dollar rises, because if it continues to fall, the United States is in for a very bad economic situation. It really sucks to pay for anything in Euros right now.
It might be awhile, but anyways this is a great time for Canadians . I have noticed though that prices in American on some items are a lot lower then the prices in Canada even though the Canadian dollar is higher...
It will surely rise eventually, no doubt about that, but it's how long we must wait for it to happen is the real problem. If it's more than a few years, I also hope AdSense will pay us out in Euros or something =P
The dollar fall isn't really effecting Americans, our prices are dropping (expect gas!) as the dollar falls, this is expected in our type of economy. Actually, American will benifit from this in the long run, if not short term. It is time to move many things off of the dollar anyways that have been hurting us for so long.
