I keep seeing people say how when they change their affilaite links they get more sales like magic. How sales from the same traffic do convert but then stop over time and I just wanted to see what eveyone thinks... Do you think that clickbank is robbing you silly secretly, by having 'suggested rubbish' tracking facciliaties, an inability to contact your affiliates and "suggested" shifty order pages? Now so that I don't get done for libel I would like to point out that this is an opinion expressed by others and there is no proof to it, I myself use clickbank with success and although peoples threads have made me wonder I highly doubt they would steal when they already rob us blind with fees, this thread is generated btoh out of interest of other peoples views and is not an attempt at manipulating results. If enough people answer with a yes then this thread could (i guess) be brough to clickbanks attention in an attempt at making them actually spend all the money they make into making a half decent system for us.
Not sure if they rob or not but i do not like their payment processing system, it rejects too many credit cards, i know this because i have couple of blogs where i offer bonus to visitors if they buying from my link, i get around 20-30 emails/week with people complaining about their cards getting rejected by CB. Personally i don't use them much and getting better conversions with other networks.
i don't think so....but yes their payment processing is not quite good....besides whenever they have tracking problems...sales too drop. what are other networks you work on? i mean i've never tried anything other than plimus. can you list some other affiliate networks?
Not directly or on purpose. But in a way they rob me by not being able, or not bothering to provide a stable and working tracking and payment system.
Do you think that any company has the potential to do this? Adwords, Amazon, etc. Yes, they do have potential. But in reality, no, I doubt that any credible company would do such a thing to its customers.
I'm not a big fan of their payment system either. Its easy for people to get pissed when they didn't read their user agreement. However if you did you would be aware of certain things that they do in order to make their system run and have their affiliates push products. Overall I enjoy how their setup. In fact, I generally try and steer away from any other place even though CB has had its fair share of rants from respectable people.
