Do you think Affiliate Programs is useful?

I am a seo, and my company's site support Affiliate Programs, I don't think it's useful. What's you opinion.

What are you saying here ? Are Affiliate Programs good ? Absolutely they are an integral part of internet marketing today. SEO is good but it still only covers the search side of things. To get your product out there (and I really mean out there) you need to use more than just search marketing to cover your audience. Affiliate Programs get you the coverage you may not otherwise be able to get yourself.

 

Both/and rather than either/or- use every means possible and practical to get the word out- believe it or not, not everyone uses the internet

 

I completely agree with jeffereeno. Affiliate Programs are responsible to millions of dollars that are making online every year. If you can get just a small fraction of the money spent with affiliate programs you can become a millionaire very quicly.

Seo is also very important. Things are changing and according to Ryan Deiss Google paid advertisement only receives 2 to 5% of the clicks. The number one spot for organic traffic on Google gets 47% of the whole traffic for a specific Keyword.

Yes I think it is usefull.Affiliate marketing utilizes many strategies to generate income for the affiliates and the merchant. But, basically affiliate marketing involves the selling of a product by a merchant, an affiliate marketing it and the profit from the sale of the product is shared by the merchant and the affiliate. Affiliate marketing offers great opportunities for financial freedom. Not all but one or two top affiliate program might help you out.

 

I think affiliate program is useless. I prefer the promotion through other ways besides using the affiliate. This is very detrimental to the other side in my opinion because they only get small amounts of money.

 

Some site get more money from affiliate link than SEO.
