If you buy a cell phone which was stolen a few days ago by someone else, not you - it's still a robbery ? No ! So why you want to say that internet piracy is robbery ? I'm not stealing others stuff - I simply get it from others who have done it
Frankly speaking, its a problem for everyone and one can't help it. For e.g. whatever changes I make on my websites, the very next moment they are copied by my competitors. But then, the 2nd name of piracy is FREE!
On Internet piracy, I can ask similar question: do you support wild animals killing and eating each other?
I support piracy, but at the same time i support the developers of the software. My ex-warez forum which had 10,000 members was based all on sharing their shit and at the same time supporting their shit. People would donate to me, i would use all that money to purchase more of their products and share it with people that cannot afford to purchase these items. Everyone wins basically, the developers still get their money, people get their products. It may appear as if they are losing money this way but i don't think that's the case because whether i share the software or not, people will still get a hold of it somehow. It WILL happen. Its up to people to download the stuff - i just provide it.
I am completely against animal killings or cruelty to animals, then no matter whether they are domestic or wild. Killing animals is selfishness. If killing animals in not a crime, then killing human beings should not be a crime either. Just like we have the right to live, animals should also have the right to live. Its proven than human beings can still survive by drinking water.
Well, English is not my first language, I should rephrased my words I meant that wild animals, that is, predators and herbivores are killing each other.... And we may like it or not, but they (animals) still do it... I'm strongly against animal cruelty, regardless if it is domesticated animals or wild animals, and also, we humans don't need to kill animals to eat like we had to 15.000 years ago. But as predators eat meat (herbivores), information wants to be free. I see it as a law of nature, or as a law of man, which is a core mechanism, not necessarily written judicial law, but as it's just the way it is. Also I support open source and software should be free of charge. Like wikipedia and GNU philosophy.
Information is not free, try subscribing to Bloomberg or Newsweek and you will know. Software has commercial, open source and freeware. You can definitely be free to choose what you want but you need to abide by the rules of eac. Mother Nature plays no part in all these. Your usage of examples of predators and herbivores totally bear no water to what is being discussed.
