I heard some 'bad things', at first, about Firefox 2.0. What are the details? and/ or How bad could it really be? With Firefox 1.5x vs. 2.0, do which do you currently suggest using?
Thanks. I saw 'Firefox 2.0 sucks' threads popping up a month ago, this tends to always happen (with big new releases of anything) I'm not up on the details about any problems with FF 2.0. Upgrading now is probably a good idea.
I'd say upgrade to FF 2.0. I've been using for couple months (I guess) now and it is working fine for me. To be honest I never used new functions or addons but it is good. I am thinking to upgrade to 3.0
I agree with browie - the spell-check by itself makes it worthwhile. I'm an Opera fan myself, but the new FF is pretty good.
If it crashes alot some of your "Extensions" may be the problem... Try updating them and then Disabling all of them and then one by one renable them until you find the problem... You can find help here also... MozillaZine Firefox Support
I really don't think you should upgrade. Its not stable and most of my extensions dont work. So ill just wait till they update it. - Prilep
It was crashing a LOT more regularly, then I removed the Google toolbar. It still crashes on a quasi-regular basis, but I can live with it, now that it has a restore session feature!
FF2 rocks, FF was great, but as soon as i upgraded i noticed they put all the cool features that i wished they had when using FF
