you submit your websites manually to directories? If yes you must see that 60-70% of it have thousands of pending links. My question is: Is worth the time to submit to that type of directories? Thank you. LE : I voted no because I think I lose my time.
No its not worth as your link will remain in pending list. I would rather prefer new directories with pr -0 which will approve fast than to submit in those having pr -5 but pending list of thousands
I vote NO. I prefered and trust these directories: Google, Yahoo, MSN Live, AOL, DMOZ,...Other directories web sites must have good traffic and ranking to ensure they're good. I will not submit my site to any directory web site have Alexa ranking in 7 or 8 digits.
Directories with 5 digit Alexa rank can still have thousands of pending links. Alexa is a worthless measure.
No, I skip them right away... There is no point to waste your time with directories abandoned a long time ago...
some of those directories, don't list their pending list... so you don't know if it's managed or not. So.. you probably submit to them. Of course... if you are able to see their pending list of some x000 sites waiting for approve.. don't loose your time with it.
I run web directory and lazy to approve 300 links per day. So,i just make it automatic approved. One click approve all. BTW,you can pay small fee to other people for help your submit link to directory.
If they have thousands of outstanding links but they have more listings then it is worthwhile. Some free directories get a lot of submissions.
i vote no, waste my times with no manage directory... and i know that directory it's for sale after that
Why waste your time with those directories. That is the reason I like the announcements and solicitations section because almost evry directory there is well managed and has quick approvals
I submit to the absolute newest free directories I can find. The reasons are simple... 1. The directory owners want to populate their new directories and gladly accept free submissions. 2. Less competition. Meaning my category of choice is not filled with hundreds of other listings which would make mine appear on page 9 once reviewed and posted. 3. Very little wait for my submission to be approved. 4. More flexible listing standards. If a directory has many thousands of submissions pending review, chances are that directory has been abandoned as zexy rightly noted.
Just a helpful hint — I wouldn't say that on a public forum. It doesn't contribute to the opinion that your directory is a quality directory.
my vote is NO.there is no profit in remains in pending list.post in lower pr site u ll approved fast.
