Just making this post since I know google changes their algorithms often. Is it more effective to submit your site to google (and other search engines) monthly, just once, or let it crawl it naturally? Any good feedback is appreciated. Thanks!!
Hi, Personally, I just submit an auto-update XML Sitemap to Google and other 3 top engines but not my domains. For indexing purpose, I think direct deep back linking would work better. all the best,
thanks...any other opinions/experiences? what if i change the content and/or design of the site, should i resubmit? cheers
Just submit your site once, if you see your website on Google's SERPs means that your website is already added to Google's index and they will be crawling your website from time to time. No need to resubmit again and again. You can also submit an XML sitemap if you're normally adding new pages to your website, that way, Googlebots will be able to crawl through your new pages easily.
DO not submit to search engine more than once. Just submit your website sitemap in Google webmaster tool and it will start working for your website.
As other members said.. its enough to submit just once... i don't think its necessary to submit every month. even google make any kind of changes for their system.
I think it's enough if you submit your site only once. Search engine can still crawl your site even if you don't submit your site to it.
One time is enough for submission. Sitemap submission is enough for the search engine to crawl the website entirely.
If you do a major redesign though, remember to re-submit your sitemap!! and possibly reorganise your priority settings/levels
