Do you stretch?

  1. #1
    I usually stretch before working out of exercises. Not only that i also stretch after workout because when muscles are still warm, stretching after workout can increase flexibility.

    Just i wanna ask this to the dp members:
    1. Do you stretch before working out?
    2. Do you stretch after working out?
    3. Do you stretch before working and after working out?

    I don't stretch before I run because I find that when I do I start aching and if I don't it doesn't hurt at all.

    But when it comes to lifting I have to stretch or I can't lift as much weight. I never stretch after my workout.

    Stretching before strenuous exercise prepares your muscles to take that extra load. BTW, I just go for walk daily and do some yoga where stretching is a part and parcel of the duty...

    Yes, it's important to do the stretching before and after you workout or jogging to relax your muscles.

    Its good to stretch before doing any kind of exercise.

    Even I stretch before doing any exercise . It prepares our muscles to get ready for doing exercise. :)

    I stretch a little before and after exercise, I also do yoga which is great for that, especially posture if you're sitting at a computer all day.

    Stretching before workout opens up your muscles and prepares you for the workout. And stretching afterwards is also important as it relaxes your muscles. However, I generally do it before workout. :)
