Do you still use microsoft ? I hate windows.

Hi,
Just checked windows vista, my friend bought it licensed and installed it to his pc. He has good machine (not the best but it has enough memory -4gb and nice new intel processor ).
When he want to install something it asks him stupid questions -- "are you sure ?" for 1000 times. Yes I'm sure will not install vista .
Vista slow, too much bugs , what kind of machine does we need to run vista ??? Supercomputer for 10000$ ? It's only o.s. that should make all tasks fast and secure.
I have Ubuntu linux installed, it fulfils all my needs. Is someone with me here ?

I run Ubuntu to (for fun) but when it comes to typing thesis or work, it is always on my Microsoft XP machine. Windows is far too dominant on the desktop arena whether you like it or hate it. I don't see Ubuntu catching up in the near or foreseeable future. It is still more of a hobby thingy

XP works fine for me as well. I haven't tried Vista on my PC but my friend installed it at his PC and the graphics looked great. I am not aware of the performance though.

I have Linux installed on my PC as well but I use it just for learning purposes.

Ubuntu sucks I used it for a week and I could hardly use any programs or games on it.

Mac, linux, vista all have programs that dont work on them that's why i think XP is best/

I don't understand why people say they hate windows. Did they use something better than Windows?
Sure, Mac's OSX is pretty stylish and is excellent for media, but is very limited in compatibility compared to windows.
And linux, do you use servers as a home pc?
