Do you still use Digg and SU?

Do you use DIGG and stumbleupon for traffic and backlinks?

 

Personally I stopped using Digg. I find that SU is still very powerful.

I stopped using Digg, and have only recently started spending a little time there again, but I have not received much value from it. It does not seem to drive anywhere close to the amount of traffic it used to.

 

I don't receive any traffic from Digg anymore. Stumbleupon is way to great.

 

I don't really use Digg anymore but I still use SU

 

Decrease using but not leave up at all. I normally expect very few from these two but hardly depends upon Twitter.

I've also noticed the caliber of interesting sites posted on diggs frontpage have dropped dramatically =/

 

I still do....I use onlywire and have slowly built up friends and followers on 30+ social site. They are good for a burst of traffic at the start, but even better it gives people chance to link to your work.

 

probably not! i don't think they would get you any kind of traffic..

Yes,I use digg and stumble upon.really they help to get traffic and backlink.

 

I personally use stumbleupon. It is really helping for indexing new links to search engines.

 

I find it to be nearly ineffectual, posting threads on forums targeted to your particular niche is a much better use of time.

social bookmarking is really good to make your website high visitors . that's one of my favorite .

 

Is digg really that effective in backlinking? what are the factors affecting the power of the power of backlinking?
