are you still advertise with adwords these days? I think they're getting too expensive .... What do you think?
They are not expansive at all if you got to much keyword maybe it will be expansive' but if you got 5 - 10 words its around 0,07$ for click depanding on your words
I'm still using AdWords with Bing successfully. There are a lot of other networks if you are looking for cheaper ads, but you don't really get the volume for your time.
i am a new user of Google Adwords according to my prediction it is not more expensive. And it depend on your products and services if your products and services are higher then your competitors, it this period your ads can receive clicks and not conversion lead the the Google Adwords are expensive for your campaign.
The CPC keeps going up. They unified Tablets and Computers to raise bids further, and took away the option to target each device specifically. On Bing it remained separate, so maybe if your campaign worked great on tablets, but not so well on PCs, consider Bing as an additional PPC "helper" of sorts.
Google keeps on increasing price for e.g term server / dedicated server was less than US$2 couple of years back but now it's over 5 times
i use it as part of keyword research - figuring out what works and what does not. Then i invest into SEO. It seems to be working for me.
For Keyword Research, if you don't use AdWords, you may be lead in the wrong direction. Just because a keyword gets or doesn't get traction on PPC, doesn't mean you should use it on your site or not.
Yes, but the keyword tool gives accurate and up to date info (from Google itself) as to what exact phrases are actually being searched for, which is the most objective metric for search engine based marketing. The fact that people are wiling to pay $X for a term also gives us some clue that the niche is valuable. It's kind of like studying bowling at the bowling alley---if you really want to become a pro, are you going to watch the hobbyists, or are you going to pay attention to the ones who are playing the game for money?
The Keywords tool can lead you astray or gave you non-converting combos (for me). You have to do the work yourself and without your own experimentation, JUST doing the research with the tool can get you to waste a lot of times. You're not getting conversion info, just what people search for. How about thinking of "The Buying Cycle"? Which stage do you want to get? Awareness? Interest? Research? Buying intent? It all depends.. Besides, I like your analogy, but you're not watching the pros You're asking the salesman which products are best and where is the cheapest place to buy them. Unequivocally, he'll guide you towards the option that's best for him. Nothing like a conspiracy, just don't rely on it for info about YOUR website and YOUR SEO.
Just saying, money on the line changes things. The people who are paying for keywords are probably paying for converting words. That's a better and faster indice to work from than hit and miss experimenting.
Yeah, the people who are running actual campaigns successfully, could probably give you an idea. But the conversation was about using the Keywords tool alone.
I still use Google Adwords. From my experience, while the CPCs are pretty high, if you have a service that sells for a high ticket, it is definitely worth it. Not sure about products but for high end web design services, IT consulting, attorneys, etc., where each client averages from a few hundred to a few thousand, even if you are paying upwards of $10 per click, if your conversion on the website is good, it is worth it. Hope this helps!
