Squidoo and the "lenses" is just another free webpage hosting. It is as bad or good as having a googlepages page. You dont get any special SEO benefit from a so called "lense"!. Ofcourse if the Squidoo page is having a good PR, the link from that helps, but so is any other page on the web. Only noobs and ameatures get excited by these silly things. Search engines doesn't get excited by over hyped useless stuff and say "wow I found a squidoooo lense!" Thats my personal opinion and would like to hear any counter arguments.
wow! blogspot! Suidoo pages are about making any lens. They even allow adult lenses. They have their own ad management system, i guess.. Squidoo is a big site. . . you can make a lens about just any single topic.. thats what the lenses are all about.. Ofcourse you can post an anchor link there..
SEOs will never tell you how they SEO. its bcoz no one loves giving the hints about how they do business. SEO is a big and competitive business and there are many secrets methods.. You can get the free.. Now thats a single instance of how SEOs use squidoo. If you are interested in doing seo using Squidoo, i would suggest you to have a big article there. and have a single anchor link there. Then bookmark that Lens on few social bookmarking sites.. i hope it helped.....

Yes, I "Squidoo". I use it as is. I'm not using it to send traffic to another site or blog. I send my traffic to my Squidoo lenses.

Me too. I tried using it to send traffic to my website, but I found it was more satisfying to build lenses that attracted their own traffic, and make revenue directly.

Exactly! It can be fun and pretty lucrative to make lenses on topics that interest you. It's funny that once people figure out the benefits of Squidoo, they start directing their traffic to it, instead of away. *If you're going to listen to anyone about Squidoo, Cryogenius and Reprobate are two of a handful that are serious Squidoo experts.
i SQUIDOO, why not, they pages are there and in my opinion its the always better to have asmany of your links out there as possible.
I used Squidoo a couple of months ago and didn't see much from the site. It's fun to do and I did get a lot of comments and ratings etc. It's a shame what they've done now. I've created 2 lenses and Squidoo won't accept them because some robot with a terrible algorithm thinks everything is "spambait"... I've contacted them quite outraged saying I can't have my lens published because of some retarded bot that thinks I'm trying to spam their site. Really irritating. There's not 1 link promoting my site on the lenses.
I have used Squidoo for the last couple of months and it has turned out pretty well for me. One of my lenses is responsible for increasing the revenue of my proxy websites by about $5 per day - just because of one lens. I have some lenses that are just designed to stand on their own, as well as a couple that are there to funnel traffic to my money sites. All in all, it has been a good experience for me.
