I was just reading that anti-spam statement yesterday. Good news for legitimate lensmasters! Plus they seem open to feedback and positive change, so that's pretty cool.

Well what I suggest is to add more modules...

I'm pretty sure I read that any lenses with under 3 modules will not be published after a certain date.

    It's not worth five stars.

And if you're planning on building more you'll find yourself a bit stuck: www.squidoo.com/unimproved

There are also changes afoot as MTbiker suggests that unimproved lenses will be categorised as WIP (work in progress).

I got a plug in yesterdays Lens Of The Day email. The lens had been hovering around #130 in the lensrankings but the extra exposure booted it into the Top 100.

Which has brought my current total of lenses currently in the Top 100 By Lensrank to four.

Wow, congratulations and good work! I was pleased with my run of one lens in the top 100, I'm not sure I'd know what to do with four. ;-)

I've recently created a lens about How to Save Money Shopping Online.

My intent was to create a useful lens that also provides for some monetization. My most popular lenses have always been the ones with no monetization potential, so I'm trying to find a balance that allows for some monetization while still providing value to the reader.

If anyone has a minute, can you pop through the link above and give me some feedback on the lens?

    Thanks,
    Jay

There's an interesting video on "leveraging" by Ed Dale that's worth watching about how to quickly spread virally your own sites/pages (and lenses) among social networking groups.

The video is 16 minutes long, but worth watching. And he's demonstrating how to do it with Lensroll.com.
