Several people have shared their income stats in this thread, so you can read back if you want exact figures.

In summary, most people earn only a few dollars/month directly from squidoo, the exceptions are those with hundreds of lenses who you would expect to earn a bit more.

If you have a profitable web site then the main benefit of squidoo is to generate some extra traffic and links, which is what a lot of people seem to be doing.
