Do You Squidoo? Good way to get free traffic

So my Squidoo account was hacked and destroyed.

I've been trying to contact Squidoo for assistance without luck.

Does anyone know a phone number I can call so I can begin to get my account back?

 

On any lens, you'll see two star ratings at the top; the first is the the average rating of the lens, the second is Your Rating. Click on the stars depending on how good you think it is. Oh, but you can't rate your own lenses.

i've tried squidoo. didn't get any traffic at all.

 

How many lenses did you have?

I have quite a lot of lenses and I have been pretty happy with the traffic so far. I only set them up in Jan & Feb.

 

If you could tell us how many, what you did to promote it, how long it was up... it would give us a better idea as to the circumstances that lead to the outcome.

I was sorting through a box of old stuff when I found a 3 page letter sent to me back in 1995. I used it as the basis for a lens on Knife making.

 

Hi, I am puting this out to all DP members that are also have a Lens Page on Squidoo. I have started a new group: http://www.squidoo.com/groups/squidoo-lenses-with-bio-photo

for anyone interested. Basically anyone with a lens photo or picture of some kind upload to their bio can join. Pretty simple, looking for lensmasters that at least took the time to put in a creative picture or their photo.

I just submitted a lens that I'm trying very hard to promote at the moment. Offering a positive rating for lenses that join is a very cunning plan.

The lure of becoming a featured lens is also quite tempting. If you think any of my lenses would be good enough to be featured, just let me know and I'll add those as well.

You can use the Featured Lenses module to also do groups. Where you put in the name (ie: riatsala) you would in fact do groups/boating and it works the same.

I was bemoaning the fact that there was a Featured Lenses module but no Featured Groups module and someone pointed out to me that all you had to do was copy and paste in the the groups subdomain along with the name of the group. And it's done!
