I spent my time on a diverse number of Internet communities, from forums like this one, to general message boads, to product review sites, and social media platforms. Oh, and I use a wide variety of RSS tools to automate blog posts to all the places where I interact with people.

We are on social media more frequently since there is a wider audience and more options to be introduced to new contacts. Google+ has been great for us since we are a tech based company and the tech crowd is more active on Google+.

I definitely spend more time on forums. I don't even like social networking, just do it to help with brand building and to make myself more available to website visitors.

Social media has taken over the mass media. It seems to even have more of an impact nowadays than newspapers and magazines. Eventually, the paper business will be a dying enterprise, and I plan to take advantage of the opportunity at hand. Be smart on the content that you write about. Forum posting also seems to reach people now more than traditional, print publications. Online communities as a whole seem to impact the public nowadays more so than other types of media

I spend more time on forums. Forums = gigs and information; social networking is mainly just a waste of time.

I spend more time in social media since I am handling an account in different social media sites but when it comes to getting relevant information and actual engagement I like forums. Anyways, both are useful for me but different at the same time.

Definitely social media. I post more on forums, because I find that that's actually more "engaging", but I definitely spend a larger amount of time reading other people's posts on social networks. Mostly twitter.

I only use social media in sharing important things to my friends and other connections. Other than that, forums is my relief if I need brilliant advises from different people.

Facebook all the way since most of my business is there, and I get tons of messages from customers and students.
Sometimes its getting too much though so you need to know how to limit it aswell.

I prefer forums. You put in a lot of value, you get out a lot of value.

I spend more time on forum sites compared to social media websites but I prefer to use these two platforms because they have specialized in different fields to help my SEO campaign and as the same time learning process in the forum sites.

It seems perfect for me to answer something like "I prefer reading books".
But being serious, that is a kind of different things for me. Social medias are just messengers for me. Forums give you information, that you need. So both.

Mostly G+. I go to forum if I am running out of ideas or need new insight. DP is a good resource but lately I don't hang out here often

Forums are more informative, I spend more time there, leaving Facebook for communication with friends. I used to live on FB, kinda addiction thing, so I had to regulate it. it's just physically impossible to read all the junk social media pours into your brain
