Any clue what this means: українська ?

It's supposed to mean "Ukrainian" but not sure. Does it work stand-alone?! I'm stumped.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ask to some Russian! It's almost the same language.

I checked that out also, but the word they suggest doesn't seem to be right also. Confusing the hell out of me.

Thanks for all the help. Hope a native can confirm!

Thanks SEO :). Can the word "українська" be used alone?

No I think, it's adjective (or how it in English, forgot) and should be used only with noun.

If you say it in English - Ukrainian - then yes, it can be used as stand alone word meaning Ukrainian language or for example I am Ukrainian or Ukrainian shoose :).

However if you ask here about using the word українська - in Ukrainian language then it is adjective and sometimes you CAN use it as a stand alone word similar to use of the word Ukrainian in English language, but not every time. In many times you will need a noun with it :).

Post here or PM me with what you need to say and I will speak it to you correctly or translate from English, coz every case is different, mate. Are you learning Ukrainian or have friends there? ;)

Anyway I would be very much happy to help you with it. Cheers.
