Do you smoke???

Quitting weed is not hard at all. I can drop it like its nothing just like any other drug I did and booze was a fucking sinch to quit too.

Cigarettes on the other hand VERY HARD to quit. I hate smoking I really dont enjoy it at all but finding it very hard to quit. Ive tried a few times now.

Sometime soon I will and that will be that

Like I said in my other message yeah I suppose it is diffrent for everybody as peoples bodys and minds react to things diffrently.

I found it very easy to quit everything I have had a habit of but then others ay it is impossiable to quite the same things so hey.

 

It's called pleasure, humans usually take a liking to it.

 

"Pack a day to get me by ..."

Makes me take a break for myself now and then, can't smoke in the house so it gives me 5 minutes to myself.

Hmm, everyone made some interesting observations in this thread. It may be easy for some people to quit, it may not be. Personally for me, smoking is more of a mental thing than any physical addiction. I've gone for days at a time without a cigarette, and physically I'm fine. If I'm not around it, I can ignore it. It's when other people are smoking around me when I think, "Hmm, it'd be awfully nice to have a cigarette right now."

 

My grandmother smokes and she has trouble breathing. I want to help her. Anyone tried a cessation program that really works and is not terribly expensive?

 

Never have, and do not plan on smoking.

I don't smoke. I am not of age yet nor do I need cancer and I can think of a lot better things to do with the money. I can't stand them either I get allergies when someone smokes near me.

Smoking is easy to quit but hard to stay quit. My parents started again recently after giving up for more than 15 years.

never intersted! to smoke :| curious to know y people not care their kidney... if they are worthless for everyone... then plzz donate one of your kidney nearby your hospital.. may be some people live their life whose kidney are failure by Smoking

If you're worried about your kidneys you shouldn't drink.

 

im one of those fair weather smokers, i pull out ciggies after ive had a few "refreshments"

being from montreal though, smoking is a form of socializing for us, its part of the culture

you kind of don't pay attention to the cons because we're all so relaxed about them

even with the recent smoking ban, people mingle on the sidewalks and parks, having cigarettes together, doing their thing

yeh i smoke, smoked for 4 years(im only 18) i dont remeber why i picked it up except that my friends did so that must of been the reason.
