No i don't smoke..I have a few times and i hate it.

 

Picked up the habit at 23 - had never tried it till then. I smoke a pack every two to three days.

 

Smokin is life... who knows when would you die.. so life life to the fullest

 

I smoked like a chimny (20-30 cigs a day) for 4 years and decided that I needed to quit. Waking up and feeling like you cant breathe is horrible. So i quit cold turkey 2 months ago











I dip about half a can a day now

 

Tell me about it, my bad party nights the next morning my lungs felt like they literally were on fire. Nothing but crap, pain, rattling, it was horrible. Guess that's what you get for smoking 1/2 a carton plus in one night, plus to top it off everyone elses smoke who was also drinking/smoking that night.

Damn was I an idiot.

 

Did you cough up any black phlegm? That would put me off it methinks

That has happened to me after wild nights of partying like GRIM said smoking like a chimney, plus the second hand from everyone else.... its sick, but drunk people are weak and break down and smoke cuz it goes so well with booze

haha that's how I quit, just dipped instead, which makes my lungs feel alot better and I can quit dipping ALOT easier then smoking...

When you smoke the good stuff and get the pasties try having a dip hahaha it just don't work, unless your good at sucking on sand paper! but then it's not the good juicy dip I was after..

 

100% correct, while drunk, partying I could smoke 1/2 a pack an hour. I had a cigarette lit at ALL times. Of course it also happened that sometimes a cigarette would burn down before I smoked it, but I remember many times going through 3-4 packs or more AFTER arriving to a party, or starting my night of drinking, not to forget the packs I already smoked that day before hand. It's not hard to do if you smoke like a chain. I was so bad I usually brought a FULL CARTON to any event there was drinking at, as I did not want to run out..

Bahhh, I hope to never smoke a cancer inducing stick again!

 

yeah, I only let myself smoke now when I drink, sober I just chew... as a chew can last you an hour, and smoke you can have every 5 mins..

 

Ohhh no. I don't smoke the good stuff anymore, but I can guarantee that my first source of nicotine would not be dip after doing so. The "after the good stuff" smoke is probably better than the after meal smoke to be honest.


I really just wish I could break away from the habit all together. Now I constantly have a dip in my mouth, but by my guess the last couple days ive only been dipping half a can a day. Seems like I always have a dip in my mouth, though.

And for those who think dip is disgusting. I agree. The taste is aquired though :-P ..... I don't think it's a "hick" thing, although I am from texas.

you speak the truth, about the after supper thing and I know what you mean about feeling like you always have a dip in. I put one in and have it for an hour or so,spit it out. Then like 15 mins later I want another lol... what always happens is I over do it, my gums get sore & then I usually take a little break to let em heal.

I don't think I'm ready for that one yet, nor strong enough...

 

Sometimes, very rarely, though I do smoke cigars I don't smoke inside though
