I started smoking at 16, by the time i was 27 i was smoking 2 packs a day, I met this girl online, she didn't like it, She came to visit me, and i quit. I am now 29 and haven't smoked since, I married the girl. I also gained about 30 lbs. But its worth it not to have the urge to smoke.

I've been trying to quit the last two weeks. I have smoked about three cigarettes since then but i'm definitely making progress. I started smoking when I was 13 and I'm 21 now. At my worst I was smoking 3 packs a day. If you want to quit, read about what they put in cigarettes. Some of the ingredients: arsenic, lead, formaldehyde, and DDT. Quitting has been a lot easier ever since finding that out

Where is some published clinical research (with a group of patients with cancer treated with goji, and a trial group which received placebo), which clearly says that patients treated with goji had better outcome than those with placebo? Go to Pubmed site (1st online autority for medical trials) and search for 'Lyicum barbarum' (latin word for goji). You'll get 89 articles, which describe trials which were made so far. Despite obvious popularity which this berry has on Pubmed, there is no single report about its healing effect on any cancer in human.
    .......

One goji site says: ...goji...has anti-cancer properties...and this is "explained" with: ...goji has "complete spectrum of antioxidants".

My comment: C vitamin is also an antioxidant. But oranges are not used to fight cancer. Chamomile tea has some antiinflamatorry properties, but it is not used to treat pneumonia. And even if something "works" in laboratory, it doesn't necessary work in live people.
    ........

If goji is so successfull, why oncologists don't prescribe it?

I didn't try to drink it. Why should I? You can't say from the taste, or eventual "good feeling" after drinking/eating something, that the thing is healthy.

I have never tried and will never try. I have never seen any point with it. It's waste of money and life.

I used to smoke, but now I have chronic lung illnesses because I smoked (Asthma, Bronchitis and periodically Pneumonia). NOT A GOOD THING TO START if you don't smoke already - and a good thing to quit if you do!!
