I tried skiing this winter!! WOW it was scarey.. going down the mountain for the first time... I think I'm going to try snowboarding next winter since you won't have the fear of your legs splitting while doing downhill
Snowboarding owns... now if only I lived in the mountains and didn't have to drive 8 hours to the nearest ski lodge..
Being Russian i used to snowboard for PE in winter. I recon im quite crap compared to other russians lol but i do enjoy snowboarding.
I used to snowboard a bunch but havn't for a few years. Hopefully I'll have enough time next season to be able to go at least a few times.
I was about to ask the same question Which sport (ski / snowboard) is better to start with if I never tired any of them ?
Thx, and btw how much will that skiing cost me? EDIT: I mean the gear etc, etc (all things I need to buy, not borrow)
Snowboarding is pretty fun, it is like the only thing I really like about winter, other than that I hate winter...
I grew up in Colorado, and was an avid snowboarder until I left. Not many opportunities to snowboard in South Florida... Snowboarding is a lot of fun, but not until after the first few days of falling every which direction and being super sore. After that, it's great, though.
We live in a place that is always warm during most part of the year and during winter, there is a dry chillness. We can't see snow at all
I've always enjoyed Snowboarding, been doing that for a couple of years. Not a big fan of Skiing but I'll still try it here and there.
