    It's possible, but would be far into the future. I would expect them to get into hardware before software, as they already have with their mobile phone concept.

    Sooner or later, in the future, there will be no difference between mobiles and computer. Mobiles are computers already.

    Well, there is no point in creating another form of computer, if I was google I would go for operating system and Office.

    This depends what you mean, google may introduce google branded pc's
    or even there own operating system (although even this is a extremely unlikely due to
    compatibility issues) but there is no way that they will be introducing an
    entirely new hardware architecture like the mac, there is just no market demand at all.
