This happens when Adsense bot cannot find links relevant to your page. Add more contents to your page to get rid of this.
I've never seen that before. If it's because you haven't got enough content on your pages it suggests that you have made these pages specifically for the purpose of displaying AdSense. This will get you in to trouble with Google. Get some content on there!
wait for few days and add content. It will start showing ads. Make sure that the content is something which can lure ads. "amputee porn" or similar topic may not help Also showing ads adjacent to each other on a page wth very less content also cause one ad unit to show blank, so avoid this.
