Hi i've surfed a lot on the net the last day and found a lot of sites who were breaking adsense tos.

    - Advertising with paid to read e-mails.
    - Placing images next to ads.
    - Rewarding the members for clicking the ads.
    - Misleading the visitors (for example putting above the adsense ads a sentence like cheap companies be sure to check it out)
    - Asking people to click on the ads (support us and click on the ads)
    - More adsense units then allowed.

    What about it.
I'm an adwords advertiser myself and i hate it to lose money on clickfraud to.
On the other hand do you think it's a good idea to boycott peoples business.
    (The adsense users).

    Confusing for me

    What's your opinion about it?

I have done this once because i got click on my adwords advertisement from a site repeatedly for two days. The site was a forum with illegal download and members only.

I have reported few sites to Google but still no action taken. I can see the G Ads till todate :). So nowadays I totally stopped informing them.

I think that's why more adwords users are removing themselves from the content network or otherwise massively reducing their bids for the content network.

If you see someone obviously breaking the rules and 'tricking' or asking users to click ads I think they should be reported to Google. Those who abuse the system are effectively defrauding those using adwords, reducing earnings for those making money from adsense and finally it doesn't help with the user experience either.

However, if you see a site that is breaking the TOS and it looks like it is due to not understanding the TOS, then I think it's only fair to email the webmaster and let them know. After all, we all make mistakes sometimes.

As for google not banning them - I've heard these people get banned when they ask for their first payment. For some sites it may takes months before they earn enough for this so be patient.

I never report tos breaking because I am afraid that the publisher will be banned for that.

If there's an easy way to contact the site owner and I'm not too busy I usually warn them about it. If not I just let google do their job.
