    Bought an apartment in the city (Melbourne).
    Lived in it, loved it, then hated it and sold it.
    Now renting a little cottage in the country, and loving it.

    Planning on buying something in Hobart (Tasmania) when I can be bothered to get down there and take a serious look around.

    I rent a house.. Property is pretty expensive in Ireland.. But we are having a little downturn in the property market at the moment.. Lots of people are going to get screwed with negative equity..

    I own a house (paid in cash) with the land estimated value is probaly around 70k USD.. its around 5 months old. I also live in asia so for 70k USD you can get a nice house. If your wondering how i paid 70k in cash i sold my old house and used the money to buy a smaller one.
