It's very unlikely, people are now just addicted to using google, Microsoft will have to come out with something amazing to get people to use Live.

Not in the near future, I find live is still quite irregular when it comes to searches, but with Microsoft, you never know. Maybe one of these days.....

No, Google is the best - even if they are a tyrant. Google has always had the best search results, offered the best programs and tools. I seriously doubt anyone can beat out Google anytime soon - not even in the next ten years.

I agree. Google got so far ahead of microsoft and yahoo in the early years now they get way more traffic and will have more money to invest in staying on top. I think as the years go by Google will really have to drop the ball in order to fall behind.

I suppose anything is possible, but Google has become so synonymous with internet search that is has actually become a verb. Google is kinda like the Coca-Cola of the Internet at this point. I think it would be extremely tough for anyone to pose any real threat.

Google is just too streamlined. Using any other search engine is like hammer nails through my damn eyes. I don't want to be slammed with ads and other ridiculous crap when I'm trying to search for something.
