Is it just me or do you notice that after a thread has more then about 3-5 posts, there starts to appeaer a lot of "repeat answers" and one-liners? Do people really read all the posts in a thread before they post? Do you? Why/Why not? Jim
I do but sometimes . .. Lazy bud here If a thread is interesting and if it facinates me only then i read all the posts . or else i wil just check the 1st post and the last reply ...and then reply ... I just read all the posts in this thread as there is only one above my reply
Did you really READ my first post? I am talking about the "repeaters" and the "one-liners". I guess I should have added the "uncomprehenders". Come on...this thread is not brain surgery. Jim
i read, most of the posts, before posting. but then on some of the threads, you will see all the posts are same. on those threads i sometimes miss a post or two, or perhaps don't read carefully, other wise i read most of the posts before posting!
Most of the times i do. Yesterday i read an 8 page thread. If its interesting it will go fast. - Prilep
Sometimes, depending on the topic title it could be asking for opinions and if there was the title, i'd reply with my opinion to the first post and maybe look at others opinions later, so i dont go off topic discussing their thoughts Oh you could just call me lazy and a man with lots of excuses
Could some one tell me what dis thread iz about??!!! No, I didn't like to read da instruction manual of a video game.
if there's a banter going on in the thread, with lots of laughs, then im your avid reader. otherwise, im a lazy bud too
most of the time ... on typical techie posts i do read all .. but sometimes ignores in general and entertainment section
I don't. I didn't read everything posted here. But when I see it goes on for several pages, I don't just 'jump in' by answering the original question.
Most of the time I do read all the posts in the thread for getting a overview of what is going on in the thread
