I am just curious for those who have already making decent money from affiliate programs, do you guys really need a website or blog and SEO it? Or you guys will just build Squidoo Lenses, hubpages and articles and directly link them to the merchant pages??
Hi Eric, There are many ways of promoting affiliate campaigns without the need for a full website or SEO. Perhaps the most obvious example would be to create a landing page for an offer and refer traffic to that page using targeted Pay-Per-Click advertising. The landing page should show some brief 'sales points' regarding the offer and shoud be attarctive and well designed. Ideally, you would also add a Privacy Policy and Contact Us (at least) and any surrounding content so as not to get penalised by Google with high click prices. Good luck!
