Depends on what I need. If I need to learn how to do something that is quick and simple then I rather find a tutorial. But if I'm learning something overall and something that will be longer I prefer a book.

I prefer both of them in different situations... Web tutorials are good if you want to see a video tutorial as it's easy to learn and book tutorial is good for imagination tutorials :)
    Thanks

I prefer online tutorial instead of books, because u find more n more updated information on the internet instead of our traditional books. U also find relevant topics, which helps u to get best answer of your query.

online tutorials via google are best - no ebooks or download required

As for online vs books: its still online, then i dont have to leave my computer to go find a book in my house or buy one or go to the local library......... i want to know how to do something now as fast as possible not, with time wasting and frustration

Internet rapidly changes and books are static and become out of date quickly too

That depends on what kind of tutorial I need.
If I just want to learn the basic, I would use web tutorial.

I think video tutorials are the best for me. I have ADD so I lose interest really easy when I'm readying a book. With video tutorials, the voice of the "instructor" keeps me focused.
