I prefer Symbian^3 I'm really surprised with the games quality that's been coming for the Symbian^3! so, do you play games on mobiles a lot?
Hi abboodeh! I play on my PC and Xbox 360 when I'm at home and have nothing else to do. If I'm out or bored somewhere then I'll check out the app store and see if there are any new games available for my phone to keep me occupied.
Yeah but only the 3G... I'm hoping to upgrade to whatever is available when my contract runs out at the end of the year (as long as I can afford it).
you're lucky in Europe that you've a contract system, you know in the middle east the networks (operators) don't offer phones with contracts, we (consumers) have to buy phones from shops with the original price (manufacturer selling price i mean)...
I didn't know that! That's pretty interesting and I guess I should count myself pretty lucky. Although people do pay over the odds for contracts over here, it's just nice to have the reassurance of knowing that I won't need to "top-up" at any point and can just use my phone when I want to. However, if I had the choice, I would like to buy the phone (without the contract) and use a cheaper tariff to save on my monthly outgoings. I don't think I'd be able to afford to do that though. Are there any plans for bringing in contracts within the Middle-East?
why would you prefer to buy a phone without the contract? to have it unlocked? why would you want to unlock it if you're staying with this operator and you're not traveling ? Some companies started already but with high expensive contracts, i'm wondering for example for this offer (http://www.viva.com.kw/en/web/corporate-portal/samsung-galaxy) who's willing to pay 55KD per month (that's around 121 pound) for a year to get the galaxy tab! OR pay 30KD (70 pound) for internet subscription for a full year to get the phone free zain (zain.com) one of the biggest operators in several countries, rarely they make any contract offer, best offer lately was something close to the 121 pound offer but with Nokia N8. so even if they make offers it's still as useless as it sounds
Well the only reason I'd buy the phone without the contract would be so that I don't have to pay about £35 a month every month for two years. This means that I can enjoy my wage with other things. I've always liked Samsung as a brand and heard good things about the Galaxy. I suppose it depends upon what you would use your phone for but I would not like to move away from the iphone as it does everything I want it to do. I think that in time, contracts will be available world wide... Maybe it just takes some time to catch on?
but this £35 you're paying monthly, you get free minutes and sms correct? maybe you meant that this £35 includes so much unused minutes? well, as for us here, i don't think it's a matter of time, cell phone networks have been here in the business since 199x and just recently they have started this promotions which is as i told you, useless... but anyway, i'll keep my figures crossed that someday i'll be able to buy a phone for less than it's price Galaxy tab is one of the greatest phones great for internet and even video recording, it's a multimedia phone, but it's size is really big, hardly fit your jeans pocket
£35 includes the phone, minutes, SMS and Internet usage. But if you add all that together over the 24 month contract period, it all comes to £840. If I could buy the phone without the contract and pick up a smaller contract just for the minutes, SMS and Internet usage, I'd save myself a little bit of money over the 24 months but also save myself from having to pay a lot out every month. Yeah keep your fingers crossed but they will have to step up their marketing for your area if they want to make more money All the best!
I play games on my LG Optimus 2X Android phone everyday. Currently trying to complete Angry Birds... :-D Can't wait to try T-Racer HD:
