LOL. dont be mean.. some ppl dont know abt google yet MMORPG is a massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game.. although in most cases the roleplaying bit is left out by most of the players
Don't play an MMORPG if you want to keep your job / stay in marketing lol. I played World of Warcraft for 2 years, in those 2 years - 1 was studying *barely passed* and the other year was just slacking off, think of what i couldve done over the net in those 2 years and think of a day job i couldve done. Oh and I had a anime site when anime sites were in their prime time during this time getting 3000-4000 uniques a day and $20~ a day and i neglected it cause of the game and now its dead and long gone. Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Pretty much computer game versions of text bassed RPGs like D&D for lack of any better way to describe them. The most well known one is World Of Warcraft. I've been playing WoW for a few months. Even though I enjoy it I don't quite get why people seem to base their life around it. Damn thing's a game, exercise some self control.
I dont like MMORPGS WOW in particular, i know ill get fire for this post but here is my reason. In Counter Strike for example if i have hp 1 and only knife and nothing else and you have 100 hp armor all the wepons, with skill i can eliminate you in no time. While in WOW if i have 1hp and nothing but a knife and the other player has everything i will defenitely die, im fighting with statistics there and if the stats are not on my side i will lose no matter what my skills are (there are tactics involved but concerning the CS scenario you have no chance), thats my prboblem.
