I have a guitar but not very skillful with it ...can strum a few chords...will buy an electric one in some time..
I have both electric and acoustic guitars. Two years ago I played in band. We played indie-rock and post-punk, so I played elecric guitar every day. Now don't have enough time to participate in rock-band, so I play my acoustic guitar once or twice a week for pleasure.
I only managed to learn the basics but never had the chance to really get into it and play like a pro. If had the chance again, I would like to master it and express myself in music. I like sweet sound of acoustics. It calms my soul
I don't know to play guitar. I think it is tough to play by listening the tunes. Guitar playing is an art and i think i should learn it in future when i get time.
A lifelong musician, who grew up as a classically trained 'cellist, I play both guitar and bass. (The symphony pays only half of what I make in my rock'n'roll band. Shame, huh?) I have been considering writing an eBook titled, "Be a Guitar God in Three Easy Steps." Think that might sell? (The original title was going to be, "Everything You Need to Play Rock Guitar for the Next 10 years," because that's how long I used my own method before expanding into more advanced theory.)
I've got a bunch of guitars...acoustic and electric. I'm a guitar teacher if any of you guys need help! favorite guitar is Brian Moore.
