Do you ping your new backlinks?

    back links are useless unless they are indexed! you need to get them indexed somehow :p

    No need to ping the backlinks if they are on a high PR site. The only reason or when you should ping them is when the links on a low quality site and you really want Google to take notice of the links and backlinks. Google should find them sooner or later.
