Well, according to Google, they say the responsibility for paying tax on Adsense earnings rest with the webmaster. Has anyone in here actually paid the taxman for their adsense earnings?

Uh, yes...and BTW, Google sends all the info to the IRS. They also sent me a nice 1099 form to prove it so anyone who doesn't is asking for trouble.

Don't worry about it then. The taxes you are filing on 15 April are for 2006. You will need to be aware of it next year when you file your 2007 return, though.

Yes, I pay tax on my Adsense earnings. As I live in Australia, I pay the taxes to the Australian government.

Too scary to not declare it IMO. As a plus, as I declare every cent my website earns (not just the AS revenue), I also get to claim expenses.

Zenite am also from singapore. I guess we need to add it to Form B1 under Other incomes head. I will be doing that from next year. I dont want severe penalties from the official  such penalties could also lead to cancellation of PR for serious violations

Of course you have to pay taxes, but it also depends on the amount you earn per year.
